Docs? Poo! Tredairs are bouncier and still made in the UK. Since the factory closed they've been made up at Northamtonshire Productive Society (NPS), the firm that make their own Solovair Brand, John White, Tredair, some of Vegetarian Shoes and TUK. The reason they've survived longer than other UK factories is that they are owned by their staff, which seems a good idea.
I sell the shoes on on
http://www.veganline.com - I call them them Bouncing Boots / Bouncing Shoes / Bouncing Sandals and if you quote the code "please haggle I'm a Penguin customer" in the message box of the shopping cart I might give you free postage.
At the time of writing, the retail price is £64 + postage, two thirds of which goes on manufacturing. The boots are made in smaller-than-usual batches as they use microfibre instead of leather, a better material all-round.
