Our DNS resolver servers are now registered with Barracuda Networks (
http://www.barracudacentral.org/) and so if you wish, any dedicated server on our network can now benefit from additional RBL filtering using this highly effective spam filtering method.
If your server is managed by us and you wish to have this added to your server to reduce spam received, please open a support ticket and we can then configure your server accordingly.
If your server is unmanaged and/or you wish to configure this yourself, the RBL to use is b.barracudacentral.org.
Whilst this RBL is very effective at reducing unsolicited mail, you may find that this occasionally rejects mail from users of certain ISP's that do not control outgoing spam from their networks. This can then lead to genuine mail being blocked. If this does cause problems, we are quite happy to remove this RBL after you have tried it out. For this reason it is not configured for customers automatically.
